Back from the Dead: Revisions & Writers Workshop

*blows dust off the blog*

*chokes from said dust*

*recovers*

Wowwwww, it's been a long time since I blogged!

My apologies, lovees, but I was completing revisions for my agent (still squeeing about that!) and working on all things Write-Brained Network -- from orienting new officers to coordinating our inaugural writers' workshop, which is happening THIS Saturday in Harrisonburg, Va.

So, while have a lot to catch up on, I wanted to shamelessly self-promote pass along this information about said workshop, in case any of you are interested in attending.

The One-Stop Workshop
for the Serious Writer

What:  We’re bringing a bit of the publishing industry to the Shenandoah Valley—helping folks with their writing whether they’re just getting started and need some encouragement and guidance or have already been published and need to know about new marketing options, different publishing avenues, and networking tools. It is a day packed with literary agents, authors, and editors who can help attendees go from "How-To" through "I Did."

When: Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011

Time: 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Where: Court Square Theater, 61 Graham St., Harrisonburg, Va.

Cost: $45

Sponsored by: the Arts Council of the Valley and Barnes & Noble

For more information and speaker bios, please visit our Web site or check out the Write-Brained Network on Facebook and Twitter.

As well, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Once the dust settles -- pun intended -- I promise to blog again more regularly, like a good little writer. Hope you're all doing well!  I've missed ya!
